Prior General's first six months: service in Rome and around the world

Fr. Joseph Farrell's first six months as Prior General of the Order of Saint Augustine have not been sedentary! Fr. Farrell has been busy at the General Curia in Rome and has traveled extensively. Indeed, the Prior General, along with his Vicar General and Assistants General do their very best to be present for special occasions and regular fraternal visits in ALL areas of the Order.

Here are the places that the Prior General has visited outside of Italy in his first six months, as well as the meetings of the General Council:

• Sept 2025: Ordinary General Chapter in Rome

• Oct 4-5, 2025: MALTA: Visit to the OSA communities of Friars and Nuns in Valetta; and 25th anniversary of Ordination of Josef Sciberras, OSA.

• Oct 9-11, 2025: SPAIN: Inaugural lecture for the 2025–2026 academic year, Valladolid..

• Nov 7-14, 2025: PERU: Visit to the OSA communities of Friars and Nuns in Lima.

• November 16 – 21: Meeting of General Council (ROME)

• Dec 1-3, 2025: HOLLAND: Assembly of the Delegation of the Augustinians in the Netherlands

• Dec 13-20, 2025: USA: visit to the Villanova Province

• Jan 4-8, 2026: INDIA: Meeting of OSAAP, St. Augustine Study House in Kerela (Aluva)

• Jan 12-21, 2026: Meeting of General Council (ROME)

• Jan 24-31 2026⁠: PANAMA: First Provincial Chapter of the Augustinian Province of Panama and Costa Rica.

• Feb 2026 (no travels outside of Italy)

• March 4-7, 2026: USA: Meeting of FANA, San Diego, CA

• March 9-13, 2026: Meeting of General Council (Rome)

• March 19-22, 2026: SPAIN: Solemn Professions, Valladolid; 50th Anniversary of Colegio San Agustín, Santander; Congreso Hipona, Guadarrama
