It is the last day of the 188th Ordinary General Chapter, 2025. The day commenced with morning prayers at 07:30 am, after which the brothers had breakfast and proceeded to the Chapter Hall at 09:00 am.
The secretary of the chapter explained the modalities of voting for the proposals made at the chapter and proceeded to distribute the booklet of the proposals, to be filled and submitted by 10:00 am. After filling the booklet of proposals, the tellers proceeded to count them. While awaiting the return of the tellers and the secretary of the chapter, the prior general made a few announcements and thanked all who worked to make the chapter a success.
The chapter participants proceeded for mass at 12:15 pm, to return to the Chapter Hall at 14:30 pm for the reading of the results of the voting on the proposals and of the minutes of the Chapter. All the proposals approved for voting were reported to have been passed, after which the secretary of the chapter read the minutes of the Chapter. The minutes were approved by the assembly by the raising of hands. The prior general, P. Joseph Farrell, thanked the secretary general for a job well done. After a concluding prayer and the singing of the Salve Regina, the prior general declared the Chapter concluded.
