Familia Agustiniana
A single spiritual family united by the Rule of Saint Augustine,
journeying together as one body with one mind and one heart intent upon God.
Familia Agustiniana
La Orden de San Agustín está formada por:
a) Los Hermanos, profesos y novicios, miembros de las diversas circunscripciones de la Orden;
b) Las monjas agustinas de vida contemplativa, pertenecientes a monasterios de la Orden;
The Friars
An Augustinian friar is a Christian who, inspired by the Holy Spirit, responds to a divine vocation to follow Christ with greater freedom by practicing the evangelical counsels within the Order of Saint Augustine,. He recognizes Saint Augustine as his "father, master, and spiritual guide," receiving from him not only the Rule but also a specific doctrine and spirituality

Contemplative Nuns
These women live in monasteries and occupy a "special place" within the Order, fulfilling the apostolic life through their prayers and hidden service.

Secular Fraternities
These consist of lay men and women who strive to live their Christian vocation in the world while being guided by Augustinian spirituality.

Aggregated Congregations
These are male and female congregations of apostolic life that have chosen the Rule of Saint Augustine and are formally aggregated to the Order by a decree.

Affiliated Faithful
Individuals recognized for their distinguished cooperation with the Order. Notably, the parents of friars and sisters of solemn vows are automatically considered affiliated from the day of their child's solemn profession.

Lay Groups
This includes various associations of lay faithful that develop around Augustinian communities or through pious associations devoted to the Virgin Mary or the Saints of the Order.
