International Condition on Initial Formation​

The Commission is charged with task of studying ways and means of assisting formators in their ministry and of providing resources for their continued growth and development. In this regard the Commission recently conducted a year-long distance course for some 80 formators of the Order via the internet, fifty-five of whom also gathered for a concluding Congress in Cascia, Italy. The course had been requested by the Order's General Chapter of 2007 and was based on a detailed study of the Order's own Plan of Formation. Based on recommendations issuing from the Congress, the Commission will determine its course of action over the following months, with a possible view to revising and updating the Plan.
